About

My name is Wojciech Kuśnierczyk, and I photograph Poland's wildlife — from owls to bison.

Nature photographer

Patience, light and wild nature

For years now, with a camera in my backpack, I head out to where wild nature begins — at dawn over the Biebrza wetlands, by night deep into the Białowieża Forest, in winter to the mountains.

What fascinates me most are owls and birds — their gaze, the silence, and the moment that lasts a fraction of a second. Every photo means hours of waiting in hiding and respect for the animals I photograph.

On this site you'll find my prints, stories from my expeditions and films from the field. Lovely to have you here.

How I work

Three things that matter to me

Animal welfare

Never at the animal's expense. I shoot from hiding — I don't flush them or lure them by force.

Natural light

Golden hour, mist, snow — the best frames come when the light does its work.

Patience

Sometimes a single frame means several mornings in the hide. Worth it.

Take a piece of wild nature home
